    Description

    The Project Manager manages and coordinates cross-functional, operational phases of system development and/or enhancement of Oracle projects from concept to launch. Serves as liaison between project team and project sponsor. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of project planning, implementation, monitoring, completion and close out.

    Education and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree with concentration in information technology or business required
    • 5 years of progressive relevant experience (project management)
    • Proven track record of effectively managing and developing people and resource planning
    • Experience developing and implementing medium to large scale system projects
    • Experience managing and working with a staff of IT professionals to achieve department and project objectives
    • Proven track record of developing good internal and external business relationships to achieve project objectives
    • Successful management of vendor relationships
    • Experience developing and managing contracts to ensure vendor adherence to service level agreements.
    • 2 to 4 years of experience in Oracle Applications 11i (11.5.9, 11.5.10)
    • Experience in software development life cycle process
    • Excellent communication skills, verbal, written and presentation
    • Knowledge of standard Microsoft software applications, i.e. Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint and Visio required
